The Rezvani Tank Has Thermal Night Vision Because Everything Is Fine

Oscar Wilde once said that life imitates art more than art imitates life.

If that’s the case, it seems the designers at Rezvani were inspired by Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight series when conceptualizing their Tank, an impressive SUV with a boxy body and a matte powder coating reminiscent of the Caped Crusader’s tumbler.

Hell, their marketing materials were even shot in the garage inhabited by Bruce Wayne in The Dark Knight.

Intentionally imitative or not, the Tank has suicide doors, thermal night vision and ballistic armor protection. (And yet we must ask why would a city dweller need those things if not for fear of a future akin to the scenes of The Dark Knight Rises?).

But no, this is less a movie prop and more just a badass SUV made by guys who love fast cars.

That’s how the Tank ended up with on-command 4WD and a 6.4L V8 engine capable of roaring forward with the speed of 500 horses on GRID off-road wheels designed for aircraft.

It’s only trying to escape the concrete jungle. Gotta say, we’re tempted to join it.
