The really impressive thing about the Rifter 4×4 overland concept from Peugot is that it comes equipped with an in-house electric mountain bike.

Yes, it’s got a rooftop rent. And the 16-inch, traction-happy BF Goodrich wheels and increased ground clearance means it can hoof it way past wherever the road ends. But what makes this thing truly ideal for getting away from it all is an included Peugeot mountain bike with an electric battery baked into the frame, which amounts to a yacht tender for the Into the Wild set.

Car camping fans will get a better look at the vehicle early next month, as the French automakers announced its plans to unveil the Rifter 4×4 at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. Based on Peugot’s Rifter model, the 4×4 concept basically reimagines the SUV as the ultimate adventuremobile. In addition to the aforementioned overland accessories, Peugot gave the model a rugged makeover, with a smoked chrome finish and yellow matte accents on the sides.

Be sure to check the video above, and head on over to Peugot for a closer look.
