Get pummeled by a wintry locust this past weekend thanks to Jonas? Yeah, us too.

Next time, we’re calling for backup from our neighbors to the north.

It’s called the Rogue Warrior. It’s from Nissan Canada. And it’s equipped with a Mad Max-ian snow tread system that can handle the streets or climb 45-degree grades of snow and sleet with post-apocalyptic aplomb. Don’t call ‘em wheels. Nissan’s dubbing them “the Dominator.”

The one-off vehicle, which was showcased at the Montreal International Auto Show in Quebec, is a modified model of Nissan’s top selling Rogue SUV and it can hit a top speed of up to 62 MPH thanks to its advanced Xtronic transmission and tough tracks that measure 30 inches in height, 48 inches in length and 15 inches across.

Brainy and brawny, the Rogue Warrior’s all-wheel drive system can adapt to driving conditions “30 times faster than the blink of an eye,” according to Nissan Canada’s president.
