They’re trickling details out slower than molasses, but one thing’s become clear: With their new Valkyrie hypercar, Aston Martin took car customization to entirely new realm.

Ringing in at $2.6m a pop with a production run of only 150, the forthcoming steed does not simply roll off the lot. Truth be told, they’re not rolling off the lot at all. The whole fleet is already sold out, to be delivered to their new owners in 2019. Sad!

Aston has rarified this beast in more ways than one, beginning with the cabin. Drivers will be precisely measured to create the seat to meticulous body specifications. The cushions are then laser-measured and custom formed for maximum comfort and control. To be noted, you’ll be sitting in race position with your feet essentially above your hips. And there’s no cup holder and no audio system. This is a hypercar, not a freakin’ Sunday drive.

And hyper it is indeed. Created in collaboration with Red Bull’s Formula One CTO, Adrian Newey, the Valkyrie is a carbon-fiber, street-legal hybrid racer packing 1,000+ horsepower from a V12.

And if it all makes you a little hot under the collar, fret not, she packin’ A/C.
