Only difference? Oh, just a couple zeroes on the price tag.

Sometimes, a remake of a remake can be every bit as good as the original.

Consider Jeff Buckley’s take on John Cale’s take of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.”

… Or just feast your peepers on this Shelby Mustang tribute from Classic Recreations.

A fresh spin on the fully licensed Shelby GT350 continuation model it already makes, Classic Recreations’ Shelby GT350CR Pro-Touring is fast, strong and all kinds of good looking.

The revamped GT350CR features a 32-valve aluminum engine outfitted with a Voodoo intake that gives the already powerful muscle car an extra 40 ponies to boost it up to 545 HP all told.

Built atop American Racing wheels shod in oversized BF Goodrich Rival tires, the GT350CR has a raised bumper, flared fenders and an aerodynamic look thanks to side exhaust panels.

Though the GT350CR’s exterior looks old school, its interior is anything but and includes a full stereo system, integrated JVC touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth connectivity.

“The exterior modifications change the look of the whole car and now it just looks mean,” said Classic Recreations founder Jason Engel. “The exterior really matches the driving experience.”

Extra features are available, but the base model starts at a “reasonable” $169k.

Hallelujah.
