But this custom camper truck Aussie outfit Patriot Campers isn’t a book, so judge away.
Constructed using a GXL Toyota Land Cruiser as a base, the off road-ready C79 Super Tourer is a four-wheel drive pickup-and-trailer combo with a diesel-powered V8 turbo.
Equipped with a lightweight trailer with an aluminum body to maximize payload capabilities, winches in both the front and rear, an integrated navigation system and ORH wheels in Mickey Thompson tires, the Super Tourer also has a water tank, electric pump and room for a kitchen.
The natural progression of what started out as a campfire-side sketch in the sand, according to th builders, the Super Tourer can be further customized with a pop-up canopy tent, dog crate and a torque package for customers who want to move past the $93,700 base price.
