“Well that’s an ugly sidecar.”

A sentiment that — until this very moment — has probably never been uttered in the history of modern civilization.

Because people love sidecars … and this one is no exception.

Affixed to a 1992 BMW R100GS dubbed the Aventura that Italy-based bike builder Oscar Tasso created in his OCGarage, this timber and aluminum sidecar is basically a work of art on its own.

Covered in “sheets of precious mahogany,” the bodywork on the sidecar mirrors the shape of the bike and is further complemented by a windshield sporting Marine-grade bracketry. With a plush leather interior and enough space to fit anything within reason, the sidecar is a piece of perfection that, sadly, won’t be replicated — Tasso never builds anything twice.

In order to ensure his bikes are “beautiful works of art” and “oriented to originate emotions,” each of Tasso’s motorcycle “has its own motif that is never repeated.”

If you feel like you can get him to change his mind, email him an offer he can’t refuse.
