Started by a Dutch firm that specializes, Aquaman-like, in vehicles for both land and sea, the Amphicruiser is an all-stainless-steel SUV with inflatable seals on the doors.
By land: it’s a nine-seat convertible powered by a 4.2-liter Toyota Land Cruiser engine.
By sea: press a button, and your SUV shifts its power to an on-board 100HP aqua jet.
Announced last year, the Amphicruiser is just now taking pre-orders and fulfilling orders for later this year and 2015. Just fill out the form on their site and they’ll get back to you within a couple of days.
According to our rep, the Amphicruiser starts at around $180,000 for a two-door soft top.
And for $250,000, you can get a 4-door, fully equipped SUV.
