Airstream just gave its Flying Cloud trailer a makeover worthy of a boat slip in Balboa Harbor.

The Flying Cloud is a trailer you pull behind your car — not an autonomous full-size rig — but with a yacht-style interior that includes granite countertops, soft leather banquettes and wood finishes that are now in lighter hues. It comes with a gas range, spacious bathroom and flat screen TVs in the bedroom and living room.

The aluminum exterior remains intact, and it’s still far more durable than most of its competitors. Inside, the cabinets are made sturdy and keep things organized and out of the way, and there’s a cutting board that doubles as a cover for the sink — efficiency is clearly top of mind throughout the design.

You can also upgrade the Flying Cloud with extra beds to sleep up to five, although we recommend bringing a tent for the kids and making ’em rough it — this place is made for a king and his queen.
