Like a cherry on top of life, this Marlboro red Corvette Sting Ray is up for grabs.
An icon in the auto world, the ’67 Sting Ray was the last of the second-generation Corvettes, enjoying a production run of just five years. Despite the short lifespan, though, the vehicle made a staggering impact on muscle-car design.

A 427/435 this is packing its original L71 435-pony engine, tinted glass, a 4-speed tranny, AM/FM radio and electric windows. It’s been meticulously restored and upgraded, including all-new power steering — a plus even a purist can abide. And she’s rocking just around 26,000 miles on the odometer since her original revamp in ‘83.
Not too shabby.
The car will hit that block on October 5th at the RM Sotheby’s Hershey auction, after which some lucky SOB with around $150k to spend will head off into the sunset nestled into a black vinyl bucket seat.
