We can imagine that Icarus would’ve been good at this sport—save for the “flying too close to the sun” and “falling to his death” part. Speed flying, as it’s known, is an extreme air sport where an athlete straps on a small fabric wing and pilots him or herself down the edge of a steep slope. If you can’t picture what this would look like, don’t worry; speed flying expert Jamie Lee has you covered.

Lee recently filmed one of his speed flying stunts for GoPro, using the brand’s Hero4 to record a video of himself nonchalantly jumping and half gliding, half falling down an intimidating stretch of the Swiss Alps. Along with the adrenaline rush, Lee gets some great views of the area, especially while sailing over the trees toward the end of the video. Check it out for yourself below.
