Once, we all enjoyed the childish trappings of yesteryear – Marty McFly, He-Man, Robocop – but now that you have adult responsibilities, you have to do adult things. Like collect art inspired by Marty McFly, He-Man, and Robocop.

Get 1.21 gigawatts of nostalgia at “Crazy For Cult,” an annual extravaganza of pop culture-inspired artwork from LA’s Gallery 1988, landing for the first time ever in New York today.

Crazy for CultLaunched by a former Interscope rapper and Kevin Smith-endorsed podcaster (and counting celebs like Sam Jackson among ardent fans), Crazy For Cult’s a month-long meatpacking pop-up featuring 200 artists who’ve created 300+ works reinterpreting their favorite cult movies in a wild range of styles.

Works are displayed “salon style” (think many to a wall), so Breakfast Club animation cells may hang alongside fruit-scented Willy Wonka wallpaper directly above a cartoon Wyld Stallyns album cover.

And since everything’s for sale both at the show and online – from $25 screenprints to $1000 original works – you can adorn your own walls as decorously or as slapdash as your childish heart desires.

Frames? Where we’re going, we don’t need frames.
