Today we round up seven festive pop-up shops that’ll cover all your last-minute gifting needs.
Think the first ever NYC shop from adventure retailer Huckberry. Tasteful home goods from Citizenry. And one place so procrastinator-friendly they’ll even be open on Christmas Day.
For the adventurer: Huckberry
Deadline: Christmas Eve (it’s open through January)
The SF-based outdoor mavens have set up shop in the West Village with a pop-up highlighting seven unique itineraries … and the goods to go along with them, obviously. Think taking a dram with Jack Kerouac, 72 hours in Iceland or an Upstate road trip. And each adventure comes with an actionable travel component and extra savings on some of our favorite selects from Huckberry’s collection of apparel, footwear and gear.
For the homebody: The Citizenry Bunkhouse
Deadline: December 22nd
Putting a little TLC in anyone’s living space will always be well-received. So hop over to the West Village to pick up everything from handcrafted throws to artful ottomans from Citizenry, who work with artisans around the world to import one-of-a-kind goods to the U.S. Better yet, head over on any weekend for their Saturday Sessions to meet some of the talented makers in person.
For the fitness introvert: Mirror
Deadline: May 2019
Hot off the launch of Mirror’s new interactive home gym, they’ve set up shop on Fifth Ave. Guests can interact with their cutting-edge hardware via personalized classes, from cardio to dance to strength to yoga. The Starter Pack on offer includes a Mirror sweatshirt and tee, while the unit itself is delivered directly to your lucky giftee’s home.
For the animal in the house: Wild One
Deadline: Saturday, December 15th and Sunday, December 16th
Shop for your furry friends in Nolita, where The Farmer’s Dog and Wild One are offering up super chic pet goods and human-grade chow for the citified pooch. Additional curated vendors include East Olivia (pet portraits), Plant People (CBD goodies) and Social Tees Animal Rescue, in case you want go out on a serious limb and adopt an actual doggo. Running this one by the recipient far in advance is highly recommended.
For the beauty skeptic: New York Mag Pop-up
Deadline: Christmas Eve (ends December 30)
NY Mag is putting your money where their mouth is with a holiday pop-up focused on beauty products their editors love. The store is hosting live demonstrations and panel discussions to boot.
For the gourmand: Eataly Market
Deadline: Christmas Eve (ends December 31)
Eataly NYC Flatiron is transforming into an Eat, Shop & Learn magical holiday market. Per usual, the locale will be overflowing with top-notch culinary gifts and a curated selection of themed boxes, like a Truffle Revelation number that delivers on its promise. Gifts also come with a little hands-on educational lesson, so you can look super cool and educated upon the great reveal. And while you’re there, snag some holiday bites at one of their live cooking demonstrations alongside a Prosecco tasting from Valdo Spumanti.

For the do-gooder: Choose Love
Deadline: Christmas (ends December 25)
Sure, you could get perfume for the missus and iPhones for your teens — or you could do something a bit more in the spirit of actual giving. Choose Love is inviting guests to come through and buy products for those who are less fortunate this holiday season. Each purchase of survival needs will be distributed by Help Refugees and their teams throughout Europe and the Middle East. They’re raffling off a Banksy original, if you’re into that kind of thing.
