The Flyboard Guys Just Invented a Levitating Jet Ski

Well this should be fun.

Looks like Zeus and Poseidon finally dropped that much-hyped collab they’ve been teasing.

It’s called the Zapata Flyride.

From the same people who brought you the Zapata EzFly — or, as we call it, the flying Segway — comes another absurdly operable open-water toy. A red and black, jet ski-inspired hydrofoil joyride, the Flyride is so easy to commandeer that even a young boy is able to careen through the sky in the machine’s promotional video (see above).

As for the specifics?

The hoverski packs four flight modes ranging from “Child” to “Advanced.” Anatomically, think traditional jet-ski controls, only the handlebars can also move up or down (and the machine with it). There’s a massive tube sticking out of the rear to facilitate the water-jet technology, and though you might need an adapter, the Flyride can link up with all major brands of personal watercraft.

The best part, though? A button for on-demand barrel rolls.
