As wordsmiths from Shakespeare to Smashmouth have discussed in their work, not all that glitters is gold.
The inverse appears to be true of this Tramontana XTR: not all that is gold actually glitters — and some of the actual gold actually looks tacky as all hell.
Although it has a “lizard-texture” cabin courtesy of Bulgarian interior experts Vilner, the main “attraction” of this one-off Tramontana is the gold accents that’ve been dropped liberally throughout its front fenders, side panels and engine bay as well as the inside of the car.
The result is Jersey shore-worthy amount of gaudy gold styling that’s tough to look at on a full stomach yet also somewhat difficult to turn away from.

Underneath all the gold is a matte black paint job that covers an aerodynamic body holding a 5.5-liter Mercedes-Benz bi-turbo V12 that’s mated to a seven-speed sequential transmission.
Able to hold a passenger and driver sitting single file, the rear-wheel-drive half supercar/half jet fighter produces 888 HP and tips the scales just short of 3,000 pounds.
While we don’t know what this particular XTR goes for, previous models have sold for anywhere from $550,000 to $1 million based on a customer’s customization choices.
