Tony Hawk, true to form, entered his quinquagenarian decade a little differently.
The Birdman recently posted a video of 50 different half-pipe tricks, a menagerie of original moves that sees him grinding, swooping and spiraling — and in the case of No. 49 (which went slightly awry), careening dangerously close to a pole.
It’s humbling and humanizing to see the old guy perform each trick, especially as, from his own admission, this is probably the last time he’ll attempt many of them. See for yourself above.
