We Won’t Ask Why You Need an Armored Yacht. But Here It Is.

Tell your henchmen to pack their trunks

You know who needs an armored boat? Coast guards, maybe. Our guess is more along the lines of stylish, uber-rich villains.

From Nikos Manafis Design, the one-off, military-inspired Marvel 41 is clocking in at a severe 139,000 pounds. The stealthy scoundrel still cuts through the waves with speed and ease, sporting either dual 350 horsepower, Mercury Verados engines or a double Cummins churning out 425 horsepower. And it’s packed with a 238-gallon tank for those lengthy chase scenes.

The passenger iteration fits 18 of your closest henchmen and is sporting both a rooftop for lounging and an all-weather protected deck.

While we foresee a ferociously slick dark knight — maybe with an eye patch? — helming the Marvel, the designers state that the intention of the boat is actually to escort and protect larger yachts. That’s some serious eff-you money, but paints a picture of more a Madoff-type instead of a Mr. White running the show.
