Marlon Brando was many things: screen icon, preeminent method actor, kisser of Larry King.

He was a rather large, if inscrutable, personality.

No surprise that few know the wonders of his private island.

Well now you do: introducing The Brando, a game-changing luxury resort booking now for a July 1st launch.

The Brando is located 30 miles off the coast of Tahiti, on a lovely isle of the Teti’aroa atoll revered by ancient locals as the sacred chosen land for gods to descend upon Earth.

The BrandoMarlon Brando happened upon the paradise while filming Mutiny on the Bounty. He fell hard: so much so he married his Polynesian costar and bought the whole damn island.

But this is no Island of Dr. Moreau.

You’ll stay in one of the islands 1,033+ square-foot villas, complete with private pool, king-size bed and private beach/sundeck. And a panoramic view of the lagoon.

By day, snorkel through the crystal clear waters and gaze upon an array of sea turtles, manta rays and reef sharks. Or explore the waters by outrigger or paddleboard.

Or, just relax. There’s drinking, fine dining and and a spa suite for couples.

Bonus: the facility is powered from coconut oil and sunshine.

That’s weird. But it’s also true.
