There’s Now a Website That Sells Nothing But Hideous Retro Ski Gear

Time to embrace your inner gaper

Gaper Day is the seasoned skier’s Halloween.

Or, as the entrepreneurs at Retro Ski Shop say, “It is a proven fact that no matter what type of ski day it is, if you dress up in retro ski gear, you’re going to have a good day.”

Their new e-commerce site boasts one of the most jam-packed repositories of outrageously outdated ski gear this side of the 1980s.

Granted, you could find your own sexy retro gear by hitting the thrift stores in the nearest ski town. But time is money, so save some of the former by investing the latter at Retro SS. They also offer rentals, perhaps a wiser option for those of us (read: most) who hit the slopes a few times a year at best.

In their lockers: neons, baggy onesies and ugly sweaters for aprés that’ll turn the heads of many a blue blood at the lodge. Just be sure to keep those boots on while enjoying your brewskis.
