Retro vibes are the order of the day at American shoemaker Saucony, who are celebrating their 120th year in operation this year.

To wit: they just released several new colorways of two throwback silhouettes — the Jazz and DXN — through their Saucony Originals line.

Saucony first introduced the Jazz in 1981 with the intention of creating a more breathable, comfortable, wider-bodied running shoe that could take a beating over long distances. The design, including the signature triangular lugs on the outsole, has gone largely unchanged since its inception.

The DXN followed in 1983. Similar in both application and shape to the Jazz, it featured the technical additions of an Achilles tendon-tension-relieving tab in the back, a protective insert and flatter, weight-distributing outsoles.

The Vintage colorways are available on the webstore now for both men and women. Expect pastels, dusty leathers and off-beat pops of color that’ll look good with all iterations of your denim and tee combo.
