Wish you had some of those patents, right? Now, you can … in poster form, anyway.
Launched this week, Retro Patents offers limited edition prints of classic tech, design and gaming patents, including landmark works by Apple, Google, Amazon and more. As the company notes, “Patents are the closest thing we have to capturing that spark of inspiration.”
These minimalist prints feature the US Patent office reference number on top, figurative drawings of the patent/device, the name of the product, the patent’s named inventor(s) and the date of the filing. They’re printed using HDR ink-jet tech on Ultra Premium Luster Photo paper.
Most Retro prints come in more than one size and start at $25. Plus, each one has a nice little history/summary of the patent on the RT website.
As far as inspiration in poster form, these ideas sure beats “hang in there.”
