A Sneak Peek at ‘Portraits of Girls’ First Print Issue

The NSFW website has decided to take it all off(line)

The reason why Portraits of Girls, a seven-year-old NSFW photography website, finally decided to make a print publication is actually fairly simple.

As founder Bruno Maric explained to Highsnobiety: “[It’s] super important that people, especially younger generations, don’t allow themselves to get lost in viewing photography exclusively on backlit screens.”

Based on the limited shots we’ve seen from the first issue, entitled “Natural Beauty,” we have to offer a hearty amen to Mr. Maric’s reasoning.

Featuring work by shutterbugs Alexander Meininger, Andrea Massari, David Mahoney, Dominic Clarke, Nick Sushkevich, Sam Livm and others, the online pieces from the limited-run ‘zine are SFW, but, just a hunch here, we’d wager the print version is a bit more risqué.

There’s only one way to find out (buy the thing for $20), but if you’re unsure, here’s a brief preview.
