You probably didn’t see Around the World in 80 Days — a Jackie Chan/Steve Coogan adaptation of the iconic Jules Verne novel — when it came out in 2004. The movie has a 31% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and earned a nomination for a Golden Razzie.

But in 2018, a new adaptation of the novel is coming, and this time it’s probably worth checking out. Because this time, the hot air balloon is a Porsche Cayenne — and the adventurer could be you.

Porsche recently announced “World Expedition 2018” with an exciting video that shows its elegant 4×4 knifing through mountain ranges, jungles and tawny, barren plains. The campaign is a sort of reverse Wonka tour, in which car enthusiasts can pay to see the world with Porsche, all through the windscreen of one of their most impressive automobiles.

Boasting nearly 19,000 total miles of total roads, the trip will cover six different legs in a total of 20 countries on six continents. Total duration: 80 days.

The first leg is a straight shot across the red sand, kangaroo-crossings of the Australian Outback, while other highlights include waterfalls, craters and wildlife migration in a Johannesburg-Tanzania trip, and exploring Mayan ruins and volcanoes during a Central American segment. Each trip aims to challenge you and the car you’re driving in, and the Porsche team plans to alternate nights between roughing it under the stars and kicking back in luxury hotels.
