It's what's on the inside that counts

Simply put, the Airstream travel trailer is an American icon.

You know one when you see one: shiny aluminum. Retro appeal. And the best part? The Airstream trailer’s design has remained virtually unchanged since it first rolled off the assembly line some 60 years ago.

But sometimes change is good, perhaps even necessary. And that’s where Airstream’s new Atlas comes in.

In essence, it’s everything you love about the classic Airstream trailer packed into one helluva van.

The latest addition in Airstream’s Touring Coach category and developed in partnership with Mercedes-Benz, what the Atlas lacks in looks, it gains in top-of-the-line performance, luxury and safety options across the board and also the largest floor plan in Airstream’s touring coach lineup.

Add in more than 50 best-in-class features (such as a Murphy bed suite with an ergonomic sleep system, signature high-gloss Airstream cabinetry, a 40” LED HDTV hidden inside a credenza) and who the hell cares what it looks like on the outside, right? Jokes aside, this one’s a winner.

“We designed the Atlas with the vision of making the best motorhome with the top features and designs that are out of reach for most builders,” said Airstream CEO Bob Wheeler. Every aspect was thoughtfully considered in pursuit of unparalleled driver comfort, safety and design quality that we could offer.”

Starting at $215,900, interested parties can start placing orders for delivery in spring of 2018.
