If you’re the type of guy who wants cruising in a hypercar to be a family affair, you can do that.
However, if you want to enjoy 305 ponies all by your lonesome, there’s a way to do that too.
Briggs Automotive Company’s (BAC) Mono is a single-seat supercar with a naturally aspirated, four-cylinder engine that’s been mated to a six-speed sequential gearbox that meets F-3 specs.
Made of high-strength carbon fiber composite, the Mono’s cockpit is located in the center of the vehicle and each driver is fitted for their seat, pedal reach and preferred driving position to make them an “integral component” of the car and to create “synergy between man and machine.”
Weighing just 1,280 pounds, the $170,000 car has a 0-60 time of 2.8 seconds and 170 MPH top speed as well as five-stage traction control that can be turned off or on via the steering wheel.
Previously unavailable in the U.S., the Mono has made it stateside and can be purchased here.
