Welcome to Kind of a Big Deal, a daily roundup of great sales on the brands and items you love (tech, shoes, style, travel, etc.), as well as great new products. Please note: Deals are subject to change at the whim of the merchants mentioned.

North & Mark
One of our favorite new brands, N&M fuses performance tech (breathability, stretch, etc.) into classic menswear and outerwear. Currently, the brand is hosting a winter sale, with 30% off sitewide when you use the code NMWINTER30. Highly recommended: Their zip cashmeres, paired with a merino wool beanie.

American Trench
American Trench is that rare purveyor of classic American style that actually makes its threads in the USA. And while we applaud that commitment to local quality, it does make for some pricey products. Except for today: AT currently has a selection of 15 timeless products on sale, ranging from 15-40% off. Bombers, flannels, indigo jeans, dotted socks … it’s a seismic selection of handsome heritage looks.

Greats
It’s a winter clearance sale for this hip sneaker brand, meaning 50% off (or more) on select styles. The colorways and sizes can be a bit hit-or-miss, but we do like the Wooster Cadet Navy slip-on, which should look great in about five months and in a lot nicer weather.

Sales of note:

  • Barneys New York: The stuff ain’t cheap ($350 for a tee?), but Barneys is throwing a big sale with up to 75% off top designer duds (hint: the store’s in-house brand is somewhat affordable).
  • Under Armour: The “Semi-Annual Event” at UA’s outlet means you can snag around 25% off already discounted athletic wear.

Ends today:

  • Sales on sales: ICYMI, yesterday we profiled a ton of stores (Bonobos, East Dane, Levi’s) throwing sales on top of already-discounted items. Most of those sales end today.
