During the holiday season, public readings of The Night Before Christmas are a tradition.

As far as we know, this is the first time impressionist Jim Meskimen took part in the annual event, but based on how he fared, we’re hoping he makes it a tradition.

As part of an ongoing series of videos he’s done for Vanity Fair, Meskimen read Clement Clarke Moore’s (or maybe Henry Livingston’s) poem in 27 different celebrity voices including Joe Pesci, Bill Clinton, Mick Jagger, Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Jack Nicholson and Robin Williams.

If you’ve ever wanted to hear Christopher Walken describing what reindeer on the roof and the  “prancing … and pawing … of each, little, hoof,” sounds like, this is your chance to do it.

It’s the gift that keeps on giving.
