Having a cool backpack is, well, cool. Having a cooler backpack, however, isn’t only cool — it’s also exceptionally useful.

The IceMule Boss Cooler is engineered like a technical backpack to allow its wearer to easily carry up to 60 pounds of ice, drinks and gear on their back. Buoyant and 100% waterproof, the cooler’s suspension system features ventilated airmesh back pads and carrying straps as well as a cushioned hip belt that should keep its owner comfortable and dry.

Made from proprietary MuleSkin fabric that’s been welded at the seams, the IceMule Boss’s main compartment can keep ice fresh for days, plural, thanks to a layer of closed-cell insulation foam and its three external pockets, which are also insulated.

“This cooler goes places where no other cooler would even think about going,” IceMule says. “It moves the way you move. It just plain gets the job done — especially when that job is keeping ice, ice-cold.”

Currently on offer for a presale price of $300, the IceMule Boss will ship free once it’s available.
