What is “French acoustic perfection”? Sounds hifalutin, and it is. But in a good way.

New from hifi gurus Focal, the curvy, 3-way Stella Utopia EM Evo and 4-way Grande Utopia EM Evo feature a couple of proprietary innovations: the NIC (Neutral Inductance Circuit) and TMD suspension, both of reduce distortion and help significantly in the mid-range register.

The new arrangements will lend an even bigger, clearer sound to Focal's already exceptional Utopia III Evo line, which it introduced last year. These floor-standing powerhouses A) look incredible and B) pack enough decibels to knock you clean off your feet. They stand more than six-and-a-half feet tall, and the customizable settings allow for almost 1,500 different unique listening modes.

Available in multiple finishes inspired by the automotive world, including metallic blue, ash grey, and British racing green (along with black lacquer and Carrara white), the speakers will be available for $65,000-$120,000 this September.
