When traveling, immerse yourself in the local culture, they say.

And by “immerse,” we mean dunk yourself in a beer jacuzzi.

That’s just one of the perks available at world’s first craft beer hotel, The DogHouse in Columbus, Ohio, now being funded on Indiegogo.

Dreamt up by the Scottish craft beer aficionados BrewDog, which launched a brewery in Columbus in 2015, BD’s new hotel wants to “combine two passions: beer and sleeping” to create “the most beer-focused hotel on the planet.” The hotel will be attached to a new sour beer facility, overall part of a $6 million construction plan.

How beer-centric will this hotel experience be, you ask? Besides IPA-filled jacuzzis and hops-infused massages, think mandatory beer pairings during meals, shower fridges for shower beers, and craft beer on tap in your room.

The DogHouse hopes to be operational by Q3 2018.

(More of a spirits guy? The world’s first gin hotel, The Distillery, just opened its doors in London this past December.)
