Happy 85th, Abbey Road Studios.

Let’s celebrate with (duh) some of greatest music ever made.

After all, you birthed most of it.

The legendary London recording studio, which opened on Nov. 12, 1931 as the world’s first purpose-built recording studio, just announced a series of curated playlists to celebrate their eight-plus decades of service. The playlists will appear on both Spotify and Apple Music.

The playlists are divided by where the music was recorded: Studio One, Two or Three. The plan is for the Abbey Road music library team and studio engineers to continually update the lists.

It’s not just the Beatles — though the band recorded the bulk of their material there from 1962-1970 and named their penultimate album after the recording space (Paul McCartney sent them some well wishes over the weekend). The studio has also been home to everything from classical to soundtrack (“The Imperial March”) to disparate rock acts like Rush, Sigur Ros and Radiohead.

You can hear the playlists here and here.
