This Tesla-Inspired Electric Sled Goes 0-60 in Three Seconds

Guess we know what Santa wants for X-Mas

Hear that? Neither did we.

But somewehere, a blissfully electric Taiga Motor TS2 snowmobile just zipped across a wintry tundra.

From Canadian start-up Taiga, this 500-pound snow tank can hit 60 MPH in just three seconds, and if you gave the reins to Han and Chewie, you could probably make the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs.

Available in single- and double-seat models, the TS2 features a lithium-ion battery (lighter than usual electric apparatuses, which tend to weigh down vehicles) that offers 62 miles off a two-hour charge, in addition to a dashboard with integrated GPS, a powertrain with serious torque and a volt-green color scheme that looks even cooler when the machine’s but a blur.

Unfortunately, as fast as it may be, the TS2 sure will take some time getting to your front door. Expect to wait anywhere between 12 and 18 months for delivery.
