Sotto. Picca. The Hudson. Their furniture, for sale.

  • 09 May 2013

Edison bulbs. Chalkboards. Dark wood furniture framed in brushed steel.

Whether it’s Sotto, Picca, or some far-flung Eagle Rock redoubt, LA’s of-the-moment foodie haunts share the haute barn aesthetic.

And now your living room can too, when you shop Croft House’s rustic showroom on La Brea.

Owners Riley Rea and Alex Segal have – ahem – carved a niche in the furniture business: they’ve supplied the furniture for the aforementioned Sotto and Picca, plus The Hudson, Churchill and more.

To craft said trappings, they source old-growth wood from iconic (and off-the-beaten-path) buildings.

We’re talking the stately pines used to build the Capitol Records recording studio. And Al Gore’s Tennessee barn.

Their showroom has finished pieces, which you should use as ideas for creating something custom.

Bon appétit.

Nota bene: When you go, note the French bulldog photos by Mayor B above the traveling doggie daybeds. You can buy them right over here.
