Porsche Swing

A chair. A table game. And some dope pillows.

  • 27 August 2014

This Labor Day, avoid the crowds by backyarding it — where you control the tunes the ones on this  and it’s never last call. Here are the three things every man needs. (Ed. note: regarding those tunes, try this patio/lawn-approved Spotify playlist on for size.)

The Chair

Ilan Dei recently designed his Cruiser Swing after the Porsche 356 Roadster. Made in Venice from recycled aluminum, this chair has a '50s vibe and is powder-coated for an eye-popping finish.

The Pillows

Soften the swing with some throw pillows from BKing Designs, now available in L.A. The New World collection features iconic L.A. scenes, such as Mel’s Diner and the Santa Monica Pier. The removable cases are easy to clean and will stand up to the elements.

The Game

Now that you have some color, you need some texture. The reclaimed oak and brushed steel on District MFG’s A-Frame Shuffleboard Table will do the trick. The gutters are lined with leather for added class and sound dampening.
