THE FALL STYLE ISSUE: THE WORK PANT

Sometimes ‘tis true that what ain’t broke don’t need fixin’. Sometimes, though, you can’t help but tip your cap to the chaps who took something great and somehow made it better.

Just such chaps: Austin and Howard Foote, two outdoors-obsessed Colorado brothers who loved the look and function of the traditional canvas work pant but thought it could stand to be a shade comfier and more suited to their active pursuits.

Thus was born Patrol USA’s “chore pant,” a sturdy cotton/spandex blend that’s got utilitarian chops but a more downtown silhouette and the stretch to match. Made right here in the USA to boot.

Whether you’re hiking a peak or just hiking to the office, you’re covered.

Just because they call it a work pant doesn’t mean that said work needs to be of the hammer swingin’ or wood choppin’ variety — thanks to some deft tailoring on Patrol’s part, this pair anchors a blazer and button-up kit quite nicely.
