Even people who have never seen a James Bond movie can probably name the spy’s car of choice: Aston Martin. The models themselves have become icons, from the DB5 to the DBS to the Vanish. But what about motorcycles? Despite many glorious two-wheeled action sequences, they haven’t received the same spotlight, until now.

Back in December, we got news that U.K. outfit Triumph Motorcycles was partnering with EON Productions on No Time To Die — the 25th James Bond film, marking Daniel Craig’s final appearance as the spy — and that special editions of the Tiger 900 and Scrambler 1200 models would be featured in the movie. Now, Triumph has unveiled the Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition, a limited-edition version of the latter model that’s available to the public.

In a press release, Triumph calls the Scrambler “the first ever official motorcycle directly linked to the Bond Franchise,” adding that only 250 are available for purchase starting at $18,500.

For the design, Triumph started with their top-sec Scrambler 1200 XE as the base then added a thorough Bond-inspired makeover, which includes a mostly blacked-out paint scheme that takes after Craig’s bike in the film, 007 branding on an exhaust board and side panel, and even a unique startup screen.

In other words, while there are some definite upgrades bikers will appreciate, this is a bike for Bond superfans. And because there is no shortage of those, and because those fans are looking for something to keep them occupied while No Time To Die is delayed because of COVID-19, expect these to sell out fast.
