During Thursday night’s match in the Jeopardy! The Greatest of All Time tournament, Ken Jennings had one of the funnier answers you will ever see — and it was correct.

When the contestants were answering clues from the “OK” category, host Alex Trebek read: “A 2019 New York Times article says this two-word phrase ‘Marks the end of friendly generational relations.’”

Ken Jennings, who won Tuesday night’s match before falling to James Holzhauer during the second match of the tourney, buzzed in. His answer: “What is ‘OK Boomer’?”

In the match overall,  Jennings had another strong showing and walked away with a win to take a 2-1 lead over Holzhauer in Jeopardy’s GOAT tournament. The first player to win three matches is the champion and will take home $1 million. The two non-winners will each receive $250,000.

Jennings was so good during the match that aired on Thursday night, even Holzhauer was impressed. When he tweeted about it, Jennings had a response that was almost as funny as his “OK Boomer” answer.

Brad Rutter, the third player in the three-man tournament, has yet to win a match and has not been very impressive compared to his peers.

He’ll have a shot to get on the board when the Jeopardy! The Greatest of All Time tournament resumes on Tuesday night.
