ESPN reports that NFL free agent Terrell Pryor is currently in critical condition after being stabbed in Pittsburgh last night. According to their report, Pryor was stabbed in his shoulder and his chest while at home at his apartment; he arrived at the hospital early this morning, and is now in critical condition after undergoing surgery for his injuries.

Pryor is currently a free agent after a career in football which included stints in Buffalo, Cleveland and Washington.
Pittsburgh station WTAE’s report on the incident notes that Pryor’s family is currently with him in the hospital. In conjunction with the stabbing, an unidentified woman is currently in the custody of the Pittsburgh Police.
Pryor’s apartment is located at the Heinz Lofts in Pittsburgh. Police are currently investigating the vicinity to learn more about the stabbing.
