Fresh off her second World Cup victory, U.S. Women’s National Team forward Alex Morgan is looking to use her increased level of exposure to help launch a media company which will focus on releasing content for girls created by female athletes.

The venture, which has not been named yet, will have a “focus on storytelling” and showcase “content for girls created by female athletes,” according to Bloomberg.

“Men’s sports are always in the spotlight,” Morgan told the publication. “We’ll be focusing on women in sports and sharing the stories that I think a lot of people want hear, and girls need to be given access to.”

Besides playing on national TV on a regular basis, Morgan has had some previous media exposure and starred in the 2018 film Alex & Me.

Here’s the film’s synopsis: “Teenager Reagan Wills dreams of playing soccer like Alex Morgan, her hero. A poster of the soccer star magically comes to life in Reagan’s bedroom, and Alex helps Reagan learn the value of determination.”

Sponsored by companies including Nike, Coca-Cola and AT&T, Morgan has also released a series of children’s books about soccer called The Kicks.
