It turns out the Houston Astros aren’t the only American professional athletes being hit with bombshells about cheating allegations these days.

During an appearance on the No Laying Up podcast, former CBS Sports reporter Peter Kostis ripped into Patrick Reed for breaking the rules on the golf course and said he’s seen the 2018 Masters champ commit rules violations on multiple occasions.

“I’ve seen Patrick Reed improve his lie, up close and personal, four times now,” Kostis said on the podcast.

In one instance, Kostis said one of Reed’s improved lies helped him win The Barclays at Bethpage Black in 2016. However, The Barclays wasn’t the only time Kostis claimed he witnessed questionable behavior from Reed.

“I was in the tower on 16 at [the Farmers Insurance Open in] San Diego, and [Reed] hit it over the green and did the same thing,” Kostis said. “He put three or four clubs behind it, and it was really a treacherous shot and nobody had gotten it close all day long from over there. By the time he was done, I could read ‘Callaway’ on the golf ball from my tower.”

Kostis also talked about two more incidents where he allegedly saw Reed improve his lie, but wouldn’t say whether he thought the move was intentional. “I’m not going to assign intent, all I’m going to tell you is what I saw,” he said.
