Los Angeles Clippers guard Lou Williams left the NBA’s Orlando bubble this week for an excused absence, but the 33-year-old guard could face a longer-than-expected quarantine now that he has returned. The reason? He stopped by the famed Atlanta strip club Magic City while he on leave.

The Louisville-born rapper Jack Harlow posted an Instagram story on Thursday night that showed Williams in Magic City, before deleting it and tweeting out on Friday that it was an “old pic of me and Lou. I was just reminiscing cuz I miss him.” He then retweeted a TMZ article that reported his side of the story:

However, in the photo, Williams can be seen wearing one of the masks given to him by the NBA in the Orlando bubble. And to drive it home, Williams told NBA security upon his return to the bubble that he did attend Magic City while in Atlanta.

Williams did say that there were no entertainers in the club while he was there; instead, he stated that he went there for a short time after attending a viewing for a deceased family friend. His reason for attending Magic City? He loves the food there.

All players who leave the bubble for an excused absence are subject to a mandatory four-day quarantine, but Williams could see his extended. Regardless of his reason for attending Magic City, NBA security will confirm his movements while out of the bubble and then suggest a quarantine period that could extend to ten days, leaving him missing for the start of the season on Thursday.

UPDATE, 11:48 a.m.: The NBA announced on Sunday that Williams will quarantine for the maximum of ten days after his trip to Atlanta and Magic City, which means he will miss at least two games before his quarantine ends on August 4th.
