The Ravens’ blowout victory against the Houston Texans on Sunday (Nov. 17) featured a little bit of history, as MVP candidate Lamar Jackson became the first player in Ravens franchise history to have multiple games with four touchdown passes.

Jackson connected with Seth Roberts (15 yards), Mark Ingram (25 and 12 yards) and Mark Andrews (18 yards) as the Ravens beat the Texans 41-7 and extended their winning streak to six games — the longest current one in the NFL. He previously threw five touchdown passes in Week 1 in Miami.

The quarterback also completed 13 straight passes in the game, the fourth-longest streak in Ravens history, and rushed for 86 yards. He now has rushed for at least 60 yards in seven consecutive games, the most in NFL history. He finished the day 17-of-24 for 222 yards and left the field to chants of “MVP.”

Jackson clearly outperformed Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson today, but Watson was a good sport about it, telling reporters after the game that he wrote “MVP” on Jackson’s jersey after they swapped jerseys. “He’s like a brother to me,” Watson said. “I’m proud of him…It’s all respect.”

Jackson and the Ravens will next take on the Los Angeles Rams on Nov. 25 at 8:15 p.m. EST.
