The American Cornhole League and CBS Sports have agreed to a multi-year media partnership deal that will kick off with a new event starting this summer.

Featuring eight singles and doubles qualifying events hosted across the U.S., the ACL Pro Shootout Series will culminate with the ACL Pro Shootout Championship event in September at a yet-to-be-determined location.

Along with the Shootout Champions, the ACL Man of the Year and ACL Woman of the Year will also be crowned at the championship event.

“The opportunity to create a new ACL Pro Series for our players and fans through a partnership with CBS is something that we couldn’t pass up,” ACL commissioner and founder Stacey Moore said in a release. “As we continue to grow the sport of cornhole with Johnsonville we’re excited to bring this sudden death win to get in action to CBS’ viewers.”

Thanks to the new deal, CBS Sports will be covering all the Pro Shootout action, with events airing on CBS Television Network or CBS Sports Network.

In January, the ACL signed a multi-year contract with ESPN to extend the league’s presence on the network. At the time, the ACL had more than 30 hours of original programming spread across multiple ESPN platforms.

“Our collaboration with ESPN has not only helped to further legitimize the sport of cornhole, it’s given us exposure to a wide audience of sports fans to appreciate the game,” Moore said at the time. “We’re looking forward to continuing to grow the game and bring all of the amazing action to ESPN’s viewers.”
