Good things come to those who wait, and according to a new study, for some that includes maximum creativity, reports BestLife. In the research, published in the journal De Economist, peak creativity was found to arrive during either the mid-20s or your mid-50s.

Scientists reached their conclusion after analyzing 31 winners of the Nobel Prize in economics. “Many people believe that creativity is exclusively associated with youth, but it really depends on what kind of creativity you’re talking about,” Bruce Weinberg, a professor of economics at Ohio State University, noted in a university newsletter, reports BestLife. Your approach to work is the key, he added.

People who come at their work ina  conceptual way peaked early. Those who were more experimental hit their max later. And if you’re not an economist? The findings have implications beyond that field, according to Weinberg.
