Frustrated Haitians grilled late-night comedian Conan O’Brien about what he was doing in the country after President Trump allegedly called El Salvador, Haiti and African nations “sh-thole countries,” as seen in a segment released Wednesday night teasing O’Brien’s trip.
“This show, what do we have to do with this show?” one angry Haitian woman asked O’Brien through a translator. But even though he doesn’t speak Creole, O’Brien was able to make the crowd dissolve into laughter. Take a look at the clip below.
