“You followed your dreams…JC firefighter… Stay safe .. love your brave heart,” Scialfa wrote with the post.

After taking him the Jersey City Fire Department’s civil service exam, Sam ranked 42nd out of 961 test takers, good enough to qualify him for the next class of Garden State firefighters.

Sam, 25, is the youngest of the couple’s three children. His brother Evan James is 29 and his sister Jessica Rae is 27.

None of Scialfa or Springsteen’s three kids have followed them into showbiz.

Prior to taking the exam, Sam was a volunteer at the Colts Neck Fire Department, after graduating from the Monmouth County Fire Academy, according to NJ.com.
