With a successful December run at Madison Square Garden leading up to New Year’s Eve, the members of Phish have earned more than $50 million over the course of their careers playing at MSG alone.

The quartet of Page McConnell, Jon Fishman, Trey Anastasio and Mike Gordon sold 76,079 tickets across four December shows to the tune of about $6.7 million, according to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore. Thanks to that haul, Phish’s career ticket-sales earnings at the World’s Most Famous Arena over the span of 64 shows are now up to $52.8 million, with 849,285 total tickets sold.

December’s New Year’s run, the band’s fifth in a row, was the most successful for the group since they delivered an $11.6 million gross in Big Cypress Swamp in Florida to start the century with Y2K. In terms of overall career ticket-sales earnings, Phish now sit at $507.6 million, with 11.4 million total tickets sold.

While Phish maybe or may not be back in New York City until December, the band does already have some 2020 dates on the calendar. Next month, they’ll play in Mexico for their annual Riviera Maya destination event from February 20 to 23.

Don’t be surprised if MSNBC anchor Katy Tur, who often references the band on her show MSNBC Live With Katy Tur, is in attendance.
