As TMZ first reported, Dr. Dre was rushed to the ICU at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after suffering a brain aneurysm on Monday.

The publication reports that doctors aren’t yet sure what caused the aneurysm and are currently in the process of performing “a battery of tests” to find out. On Tuesday night, the 55-year-old mogul posted a message to Instagram thanking his doctors and his fans for their support.

“Thanks to my family, friends, and fans for their interest and well wishes,” he wrote. “I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”

E! reports that that hip-hop legend remains in the ICU as of this morning (Jan. 6).

The aneurysm comes at a rough time for Dr. Dre, who is currently in the middle of a contentious divorce with his wife of 24 years, Nicole Young. A hearing pertaining to spousal support and their prenuptial agreement was originally scheduled to take place Wednesday, and while it’s currently still scheduled, E! reports that it’s “likely to be continued.”
