Three more women have come forward and accused Cuba Gooding, Jr., of groping them, bringing the number of the actor’s accusers to five, leading to a new charge for him as he’s set to be arraigned on Tuesday (Oct. 15).

Gooding reportedly surrendered to police in Manhattan to be booked on the new charge ahead of his arraignment. The Manhattan District Attorney has not disclosed what exactly the latest victim is alleging, and the indictment will remain sealed during Tuesday’s court hearing, where the actor is expected to plead not guilty.

In addition to the new charge, he is currently facing two counts of forcible touching connected to an incident with a 29-year-old woman at the Magic Hour Rooftop Bar & Lounge in Times Square on June 9 and another with a different woman from October 2018.

The new accusations from the three women who came forward today reportedly date back as far as 10 years. While there are limited details available about the new allegations, one of the instances of misconduct is said to have taken place in a restaurant. Gooding’s lawyer Mark Heller remains confident that his client will beat the new charges, telling reporters, “The allegations will never result in a conviction for anything.”

Back in August, a judge rejected the Jerry Maguire actor’s request to have the case thrown out. Gooding could face up to a year in prison if convicted.
