How much Keanu is too much Keanu? (Trick question: there is never too much Keanu.)

We’re going to find out in 2021. Warner Bros. just set May 21st of the year after next to release the long-awaited fourth installment of The Matrix. Ironically, that’s also the same day Lionsgate plans to release the latest installment of Reeves’s other franchise, John Wick 4.

Thankfully, release dates this far out tend to be fluid. Until that time of potential sequel conflict, however, the 55-year old actor will be appearing in the third Bill & Ted film and the next SpongeBob Squarepants movie…and, though not confirmed, a superhero film overseen by the Russo brothers (Avengers: Endgame). What will the Keanussance bring after that? Who knows! All we know is that we won’t be totally mad if he revisits his characters from other classics like Point Break or Johnny Mnemonic, even if they fall on the same day.
